Matteo Renzi

Matteo Renzi is the President of the Italian Council of Ministers. He was President of the Province of Florence from 2004 to 2009, Mayor of Florence from 2009 to 2014. He has been Secretary of the Democratic Party since 15 December 2013. He earned a Law degree from the University of Florence in 1999 with a thesis on Giorgio La Pira, the former Christian Democratic Mayor of Florence.
